Riccione's Parco della Resistenza kiosk set to reopen on 15 November
After months of closure, the kiosk and bar in Riccione's city park reopens under a five-year management, open all year round.
Riccione’s Parco della Resistenza is getting its refreshment point back. The kiosk and bar reopens on Sunday 15 November at 10 am, after months of waiting, under a new management that will run for five years.
The service will operate all year, but hours change with the seasons. From November to March the kiosk will open Monday to Friday for at least three hours a day, between 1 pm and 5 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays it will open for at least six hours, from 10 am to 5 pm. From April to October hours get longer: every day for at least eight consecutive hours.
The new operators will do more than run the bar. They will clean the area around the kiosk and handle routine maintenance of the footpaths around the small lake. After an initial start-up phase, the fitness area is also due to be expanded.
Environment councillor Christian Andruccioli spoke of a new phase starting in mid-November, stressing the importance of keeping the service continuous and the park well kept.
Good to know for visitors: the park is a green break in Riccione, with its lake and walking paths. In winter, go in the afternoon or at the weekend, when the kiosk is open longer.
